As far back as I can remember, I have had to face many trials. It seemed like one obstacle after another, each one testing my strength and resilience. These trials were the kind that weighed me down, leaving me feeling overwhelmed and defeated. But everything changed when I came to Christ.

Upon accepting Christ into my life and realizing the truth of who He said I am, a new set of trials emerged. These trials were different, more refined, and spiritual in nature. Looking back, I can confidently say that if it were not for the boundless mercy of God, I might not have made it through. He truly kept me, and I am a living testament to His grace.

One particular episode stands out vividly in my memory. It was during my time at my previous job, a place filled with toxicity, which had begun to take a toll on my health. Paradoxically, I was losing weight rapidly, which might seem like a good thing to me at first. However, the speed at which I was shedding pounds greatly concerned my doctor.

In those moments, I was reminded of the biblical story of Hannah, who went to God in desperation, pouring out her heart's desires. I, too, found myself on my knees, seeking refuge in God's presence. Little did I realize that God was using this situation however difficult to reveal more to me about myself and to strengthen my unwavering trust in Him.

Through it all, I emerged from that trying situation, soaring like an eagle. It was not just a simple move; it was a promotion orchestrated by God right in the presence of my enemies. It was a testimony to the fact that God's plans for us often involve lifting us up when the world seeks to bring us down.

Many times, we find ourselves in circumstances that feel unbearable, situations where we wonder if God is truly present. But even when we can't see Him, rest assured that He is working behind the scenes, orchestrating events for our ultimate good, just as Romans 8:28 (KJV) assures us: " And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose."

These challenging situations we encounter are often necessary for our spiritual growth. Just as Jacob had to undergo a transformative process in Laban's household before becoming Israel, our character must be molded and refined through trials to prepare us for the destiny God has in store.

In conclusion, as I reflect on my journey, I can confidently proclaim that my faith has allowed me to soar above life's trials. The trials, though challenging, were instruments in God's hands, shaping me into the person I needed to become. I encourage you to hold onto your faith during challenging times, for your trials, too, can lead to transformation and elevation. Trust that God is working all things together for your good, and one day, you will rise above your circumstances and SOAR to new heights, just as He intended.

You often hear that God will turn our mess into a message, and I can't help but resonate with that concept, even though it's been a challenging journey for me. It's difficult to fathom why God would allow heart-wrenching experiences to shape us into messengers of His grace, especially when we're still navigating our own storms. Yet, this has been my story, a story I've hesitated to share in its entirety, but I'll tread lightly now to give you a glimpse of what will be in my book.

For over a decade, I've walked through what has felt like the depths of hell. I've prayed fervently and even received prophecies, but these revelations didn't provide much solace to my weary flesh. All they conveyed was that what I was enduring would serve a purpose in helping others on their journey. In hindsight, that prophecy was accurate, as God has indeed used my trials to assist many persons in overcoming their own challenges. Yes, they've triumphed while I continue to endure.

There have been countless moments when I've found myself on my knees, tears streaming down my face, as I implored the Lord for answers, asking Him, "Why me?" Yet, on one profound occasion years ago, He responded with a revelation that penetrated the depths of my soul. He urged me to stop dwelling on the "why" because, you see, there's a greater purpose behind our struggles, a purpose that becomes clear only after we've emerged victorious.

The Word of God assures us that He knew us even before we were formed in our mother's womb. He intimately knows every fiber of our being, and there's nothing concealed about us that escapes His awareness. In the grand tapestry of our lives, even our messes serve a divine purpose, ultimately transforming into powerful messages of His divine love and redemption.

So, as we continue our journey, however messy it might seem, remember that while we continue to use what he has given us. God, in His infinite glory, will use our mess to help someone on their journey; after all, it’s the very premise of our lives to be our brother's keeper in whichever way that might be.

As I reflect on how my life has transformed throughout my journey with Christ, discovering who I am in Him and finally believing that “my gifts will make room for me," I am writing this so that you, too, would be inspired. This post will emphasize the importance of embracing our unique selves and how this impacts our lives and others. The aim is for us to be encouraged to recognize our gifts, nurture them, and share them with the world, leaving a lasting legacy.

The concept that our gifts will make room for us is rooted in the Bible Proverbs 18:16 (KJV), which states, " A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men." This verse emphasizes that our unique gifts and talents are not just personal attributes but tools that can open doors of opportunity for us while paving the way for a fulfilling and purposeful life.

Like many others, I have wandered through life's twists and turns, searching for my true calling. I prayed and explored various hobbies, hoping to stumble upon that one call that resonated with my soul. This phase of intense introspection and occasional frustration deepened my understanding of my desires and aspirations. This was where I recognized that to truly be my best self, I had to be able to help others become their best selves.

In a broader context, the Bible teaches that God has endowed us with specific talents and abilities for a purpose. In 1 Peter 4:10 (NIV), it is written, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God's grace in its various forms." This implies that our gifts are not meant solely for our benefit but are instruments through which we can serve and bless others.

During an encounter with the Lord, I discovered my natural talent and passion for inspiring and motivating others through writing and speaking. This realization prompted me to focus on developing and improving these gifts. I recognized my abilities and began an intentional journey toward enhancing my skills and knowledge. Though I have faced self-doubt and setbacks, my unwavering faith in God and what he said about me continues to propel me forward.

While the biblical principle that your gift will make room for you is powerful, it is essential to acknowledge that the journey may not always be smooth. You may face challenges, setbacks, and periods of doubt. However, the Bible offers encouragement in times of adversity. In Galatians 6:9 (KJV), we are advised, " And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season, we shall reap if we faint not." This verse reminds us that persistence and faith in our gifts, coupled with diligence, will eventually lead to success.

As proficiency in my gifts grows, an overwhelming urge to share it with others has consumed me. I recognized that my talents possessed the capacity to inspire, assist, and forge meaningful connections with people. Through my ministry, volunteer efforts, and simple acts of generosity, I witnessed firsthand how my gifts resonated deeply with others and have positively impacted their lives.

The journey of discovering, nurturing, and sharing our gifts is nothing short of transformative. It teaches us that our unique abilities possess the power to shape our lives and others in extraordinary ways. Embrace your gifts, dedicate yourself to their development, and illuminate the world with your contributions. Through this, you will not only carve out your place but also leave an indelible legacy that enriches the lives of others.
